Unidentified Male Cadaver Found In La Union Beach

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Police authorities here were baffled on the identity of a male cadaver found along the shoreline of Barangay San Agustin, near the Sea Park Resort here.
Aris Danguecan, city police investigator, said the dead man  was wearing a blue-orange basketball jersey shirt, blue maong pants, and brown Merrel shoes. He did not carry an ID card but a total of P1,640 was discovered in one of his pockets.
Danguecan said that a certain Brillantino L. Balbin, 54, a resident of the village, who was jogging in the area saw the cadaver lying a prone position and reported it to his brother- in- law, Arnold C. Balcita, 40, member of La Union Emergency and Rescue Team, who also lives in the said village.
The police here are now conducting additional investigation, while waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the victim. ERWIN BELEO/Northbound Philippines News
