Typhoon Lando slowdown and maintains strength Aurora Province under Signal No. 4

Typhoon Lando has slowdow and further intensified as it apprpoaches Aurora, Isabela and Northern Quezon.

4PM today it is located at 230KM east of Baler, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 175KPH near the center and gustiness of upto 210KPH. It is forecast to move west at 10KPH and forecasted position 24hrs vicinity of Nagtipunan, Quirino; 48hrs vicinity of Lubuangan, Kalinga.

Signal No. 3 – Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Ifugao, Northern Quezon, including Polilio Islands
Signal No. 2 – Kagayan including Calayan and Babuyan group of islands, Benguet, Mountian Province, Abra, Kalinga, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga,
Bulacan, Rizal, rest of Quezon, Camarines Norte and Metro Manila

Signal No. 1 – Batanes, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Lubang Island, Northern Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Sur, Albay, Catanduanes

Estimated rainfall amount is from heavy to intense within the 650 km diameter of the typhoon.
