BAGUIO CITY — Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cordillera Regional Office arrested two drug pushers in a buy-bust at Lake Drive, Burnham Park, Baguio City yesterday, November 17.
Arrested were Derick dela Cruz Bambico, 37, single, a mobile phone vendor and a resident of Sitio Magnolia, Irisan, Baguio City and Roben Saydawan Feliciano, alias Ben, 18, single, a native of Mankayan, Benguet and a resident of Barangay Irisan, Baguio City.
The suspects were collared when they sold a plastic bag of dried marijuana stalks weighing more than one kilogram valued at PhP130,425.
The suspects are now detained at the Baguio City Jail while a case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act No. 9165 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
PDEA-Cor Regional Director Juvenal B. Azurin said that in less than a month since the burning of illegal drugs at Camp Bado Dangwa, 10 drug law offenders have been arrested through buy-bust operations by the PDEA Cor operatives. PNA
