The first thing anyone can do to get involved is to turn off their lights last Saturday. But there is much, much more for SM City Baliwag. Their full purpose is for people to take action beyond the hour. The vision is always to do more, and to make the light switch the beginning of everyone’s journey!

SM City Baliwaglaunched its initial collection of pet bottles for the improvised Globe centerpiece representing our Mother Earth. Each collected bottles from community donation will be inserted into the centerpiece and will be unveiled during Earth Day season.

To form the significant 60+ symbol, they made lamps fromrecycled bottlescontributed by employees, janitorial and security personnel and of course customers’. They lighted the lamps using cotton, salt and used oil from different food tenants. This move is an evident that we can conserve energy on our own simple ways.dance
