SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna, Nov. 14 (PNA) — Alex P. Ursolino, 55, chapter head, Society of Communicators And Networkers (SCAN) International- San Pablo City Chapter, filed a libel case against former evangelical worker Lowell Menorca II on Friday (Nov.13) for his allegation aired over the television that the SCAN International is a “hit squad” and his statement defamed and caused great dishonor to the society.
The libel case was filed before the City Prosecutor’s Office received by Prosecutor Dominador A. Leyros.
In an interview, Ursolino belied the statement of Menorca that the SCAN was an hit squad or death squad.
He said that in the city or in the province of Laguna, the SCAN has been known as an organization ready to help and assist especially during calamities like typhoons, flood and even accidents occurring in the roads and thoroughfares. PNA
