DAGUPAN CITY — Pangasinan Fourth District Rep. Christopher de Venecia condoled with the family of SPO2 Aries Tamondong, a member of the Regional Public Safety Battalion who was killed during an armed encounter with a band of New People’s Army (NPA) rebels in San Nicolas town.
De Venecia said he was deeply saddened by the loss of Police Officer 2 Aries Tamondong who was from Manaoag townwho died during the encounter between government troops and New People’s Army rebels.
“We thank Officer Tamondong for his service and we commend his bravery, his dedication, and his commitment to go above and beyond the call of duty to serve and protect his fellow Pangasinenses,” he said in a press statement.
“We extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family and friends he left behind, and we are with them during this difficult time”.
De Venecia also commended the bravery and service of PO2 Jonielon Marus Bangcal who was wounded in action, saying he will pray for his speedy recovery. LVM/PNA-northboundasia.com
