The street of San Fernando City, La Union glows at night in a parade of lights as part of the celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of Saint Louis College. The parade consisted of SLC students wearing costumes that light and holding recycled plastic bottles emitting colorful lights.
In the street dance performance, students were divided into groups representing the different cultures of Immaculate Heart of Mary mission countries like China, Brazil and those of Africa and America.
SLC President Fr. Gilbert Sales said that there are plans the parade of lights, the first of its kind, will be a yearly traditional activity of the college and the city. Christine Junio/ Northbound Philippines News
