PDEA nabs 2 suspected drug pushers in Pangasinan buy-bust

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — A Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in coordination with the Lingayen police, arrested two suspected illegal drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Lingayen at 4:30 p.m. of February 27.

Arrested in an operation led by PDEA Agent Rechie Q. Camacho, SEU chief, on Alvear St. in Barangay Poblacion, Lingayen were Ranny Antiporda, 31, and Leo de Guzman, 35, a mechanic.

Confiscated from the suspects’ possession, control and custody by PDEA Agent Ben Camilo Jasmin Jr , who acted as poseur-buyer, were buy-bust money of one piece of PHP500 bill; one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 1.5 grams; one small plastic ziplock containing 20 pieces of rolled aluminum foil strips; one Samsung cellular phone, one Unit of XHK cellular phone and nine pieces of boodle money made to look like PHP500 bill.

The arrested suspects and pieces of evidence confiscated are now in the custody of the PDEA operating team prior to the filing of appropriate complaints against them for violation of Republic Act 9165. Leonardo Micua/PNA-northboundasia.com
