CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad — The qualifying and neuropsychological examinations for prospective Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Cordillera Regional Office (PDEA-CAR) agents is set on March 4 in Baguio City.
PDEA-CAR director Edgar Apalla said the examinations will be conducted at the Department of Education (DepEd) building located inside the Baguio City National High School (BCNHS) grounds.
He said that applicants coming from Regions 1, 2, and the CAR are scheduled to take the examinations in Baguio City.
Earlier, Apalla said the PDEA is in need of 400 new agents to fill plantilla positions in the agency.
The call was made last December and those who applied will take the examinations on Saturday.
However, Apalla said that walk-in applicants will still be entertained on examination day.
Walk-in applicants must bring with them the duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (Civil Service Commission Form No. 212); valid Identification Card; two latest 2″x2″ ID photos; two Mongol #2 pencils; and a Black pen.
Apalla also said that the following must also be presented, original and photocopy of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued birth certificate; National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) height waiver (if applicable); official transcript of records (OTR); college diploma; and certificate of eligibility.
He said that interested walk-in applicants should at least be baccalaureate degree holders, 21 to 35 years old, 5’2″ for men and 5′ for women in height, and eligible for career service second level position.
Those who will be taking the examinations should wear white round-neck shirts, blue jeans and rubber shoes.
Males should be in proper haircut while females should be in ponytail, if applicable.
“The examinations will promptly start at 6 a.m.
“The recruitment of new blood is necessary to augment the lean manpower of PDEA in order to carry out the government’s war against dangerous drugs,” the PDEA regional director said. Sam Bautista/PNA-northboundasia.com
