CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — The Provincial Government of Isabela is set to honor Thursday night the Outstanding Isabelinos who excelled in various field of professions as part of celebrating the 161st founding anniversary on Thursday.
The outstanding Isabelinos were selected by the 161st founding anniversary selection committee which scrutinized the nominees and officially announced the individuals and family as the deserving awardees.
The Outstanding Isabelinos to be recognized by the provincial government are Ret. Maj. Gen. Benito Ramos, a former army officer, former NDRRMC Executive Officer and presently the consultant of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and will be recognized as the Most Outstanding Isabelino; Renato Maguigad from San Mateo, Isabela on Agriculture; Dr. Vilma Cabrera from City of Ilagan for Education.
Other awardees will be the Abad Family from Cabatuan town who will be getting the honor of outstanding family; Noemi Yangco for Entrepreneurship from Santiago City; Former SP member and IVAC chairman Ysmael Atienza Sr. and Maj. Gen. Harold Cabreros for peace and order; Conrad Delos Reyes from Cauayan City for media; Luna Vice Mayor Andy Domingo for Public Service; Precila Delima from Cauayan City for Science and Technology; and Felix Seriales Jr. of Ramon for Culture and Arts.
The winners will be awarded Certificates of Recognition and cash award from the provincial government during the awarding ceremony to be held at the Queen Isabela Park. SCD/MGEdale/PNA-northboundasia.com
