Notorious suspected drug dealer nabbed in Aurora town

MARIA AURORA, Aurora — The war on drugs in this province has shifted to high gear as another sting operation done by the Maria Aurora police netted a notorious suspected drug dealer.

Maria Aurora Police chief, Chief Insp. Bayani Balbuena, said Saturday that Diomar Valle, 36, seventh in the town’s list of most wanted drug pushers, was arrested Friday evening in a police buy-bust drug operation in Barangay Florida here.

Police seized from the suspect three plastic sachets containing alleged ‘shabu’ (methamphetamine hydrochloride), PHP500 in marked money and a motorcycle.

Valle was arrested while in the act of selling shabu to a police officer posing as a buyer.

He is undergoing investigation and will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

All evidences from the drug operation will be brought to the Aurora Police crime laboratory on Saturday morning.
