Notorious shabu courier, pusher arrested in Baler drug bust

BALER, Aurora — A notorious drug pusher in this province was arrested on Wednesday in a buy bust operation here.

Christian Gabral, 26, a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Zarah, San Luis, this province was arrested at Baler public transport terminal around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, police said.p>Gabral’s arrest came hours after Police Senior Inspector Emilio B. Sison, chief of police (COP) of Baler police station (BPS) personally texted the suspect to buy shabu amounting to PHP2,000.

Seized from Gabral were one heat sealed plastic sachet containing shabu, four pieces of Php500 marked money and other shabu paraphernalia.

Gabral told Philippines News Agency (PNA) that he got the shabu for about PHP1,500 per sachet from alias Tong in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija and he sold it for PHP2,000 per sachet.

He admitted that his supplier owned a known club and partygoers in bars in Nueva Ecija.

Gabral also said that he used shabu Tuesday night in Nueva Ecija before travelling to Baler town.

Gabral, who is in the police station’s drug watchlist, is now facing violation of Section 5, article II of Republic Act 9165 (delivery of shabu).

Sison said that Gabral is taking advantage of celebration of All Saints Day where police personnel are all deployed to various sections of the town proper, particularly in the cemetery.
