DAGUPAN CITY — No damage was reported in Pangasinan following a 5.7 magnitude earthquake that shook parts of Northern Luzon at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, rousing some residents from their deep slumber.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanolgy and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that the epicenter of the quake was located 58 kilometers northwest of Bolinao, Pangasinan.
The quake was felt in Dagupan City at Intensity III and intensity II in Baguio City and Iba, Zambales.
Aftershocks were expected but none so far was felt in any part of the province as of this posting.
Residents were called upon by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) to be on alert and take the necessary precaution. PNA
