DAGUPAN CITY — Mayor Belen Fernandez has again suspended classes in all levels (public and private) in Dagupan City on Thursday (September 1).
This is in view of the inundation of major city and barangay roads from waters coming from upstream which rendered access to many schools in the city impassable, she said.
This will be the second straight day that classes in all levels in Dagupan City were suspended based on the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
Fernandez, however, said that work in government offices in Dagupan shall not be affected by the declaration.
She enjoined everyone to continue to take necessary precautions and to stay indoors. PNA/northboundasia.com
