NGCP sets power outages in parts of Isabela on March 15-16

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled a 10-hour power interruption on Wednesday, affecting service areas of the Isabela Electric Cooperative (ISELCO) – 1 Cauayan City substation.

NGCP-North Luzon corporate communications and public affairs officer, Lilibeth Gaydowen, said the power interruption, set from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., is due to the maintenance work to be done at the Santiago–Cauayan 69kV line.

Gaydowen further said that a power outage has likewise been scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, affecting the service areas of the Cabatuan and Alicia substations, including the Ifugao Electric Cooperative (IFELCO) Alfonso Lista substation.

On the same day, power will also be shut down from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the service areas of ISELCO – I Reina Mercedes substation and ISELCO – II Naguilian and Ilagan substations due to maintenance work at the Gamu-Ilagan – Naguilian – Reina Mercedes 69kV line.

The NGCP official assured that normal operations will immediately resume after work is completed.
