TUGUEGARAO CITY — The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a 10-hour power interruption on Wednesday and Thursday that will affect areas covered by the Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO 2).
NGCP North Luzon corporate communications and public affairs officer, Lilibeth Gaydowen, said the power outage on Wednesday will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., affecting CAGELCO 2’s Sta. Teresita and Sta. Ana substations, and on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., affecting the Bantay substation.
She said the NGCP will implement preventive maintenance at the Magapit-Camalaniugan-Sta.Ana, Cagayan 69-kilovolt transmission line segment.
Normal operations will resume immediately after work is completed, Gaydowen said, advising customers and the public to make the necessary preparations for the scheduled power interruption. PNA-northboundasia.com
