NGCP sets 10-hour power interruption Wednesday

TUGUEGARAO CITY — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a 10-hour power interruption tomorrow (March 8) affecting some localities served by the Isabela Electric Cooperative (ISELCO) – I and whole provinces of Quirino and Alfonso Lista and Aguinaldo, Ifugao.

Lilibeth P. Gaydowen, North Luzon Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Officer, said the NGCP will be conducting a reconfiguration of structure along Santiago – Batal 69kV linbe segment, construct metering facilities for NIA – Baligatan and replacement of line hardwares along transmission lines serving the above mentioned electric cooperatives.

Gaydowen said the power interruption will start at 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. affecting the localities of Santiago, San Isidro, Cordon, Echague, Alicia, San Mateo, Cabatuan, Alicia Angadanan, San Agustin, Jones, and San Guillermo.

Meanwhile, Gaydowen said aside from the service areas of ISELCO I, the whole province of Quirino and Alfonso Lista and Aguinaldo, Ifugao will experience the scheduled 10-hour power interruption.

She said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion, even as she advised the customers to be affected to take the necessary preparations and precautions. PNA-northboundasia.com
