NGCP says power restored in Isabela areas hit by ‘Lawin’

TUGUEGARAO CITY — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said Tuesday power has been restored in areas of Isabela where it was cut off during the onslaught of typhoon “Lawin” last week.

Northern Luzon corporate communications and public affairs officer Lilibeth Gaydowen said as of 6:13 p.m. yesterday (October 24), the Tuguegarao-Cabagan 69kV line was re-energized, extending power transmission service to Isabela Electric Cooperative II (ISELCO II’s) Cabagan Substation.

She said all other transmission lines connected to the distribution facilities of Isabela Electric Cooperative I (ISELCO I) and ISELCO II were re-energized, extending power transmission service to its franchise areas in Isabela. PNA-northboundasia.com
