MANILA — Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak arrived in Manila Thursday afternoon to attend the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit that the country is hosting from April 26-29.
With the theme, “Partnering for Change, Engaging the World”, the summit aims to strengthen the unity among ASEAN member states.
Razak will also chair the 10th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT GT) Summit, and will attend the 12th Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Summit which will be hosted by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Among those who welcomed Razak were Presidential Advisor on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza and Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Datuk Raszlan Abdul Rashid.
