MANILA — A magnitude 4 earthquake struck Surigao Del Sur early Thursday.
In an advisory, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) the earthquake occurred at 4:37 a.m. with its epicenter located at 75 km north of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur.
The tectonic earthquake had a depth of 19 km.
Meanwhile, a magnitude 4.1 earthquake rocked Bislig City, Surigao del Sur late Wednesday.
The temblor occurred at 11:21 p.m., with its epicenter traced at 46 km east of Bislig City and has a depth of 23 km.
