SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — A magnitude-3.3 earthquake jolted the province of La Union on Tuesday according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) .
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 1:27 p.m. with its epicenter traced eleven kilometers northeast of Bagulin, La Union.
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 19 kilometers.
The agency said that there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake while aftershocks were not expected as well. CHRISTINE JUNIO/Northbound Philippines News
