ILOCOS PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE RESHUFFLES POLICE OFFICERS

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – The police directors of Pangasinan and Ilocos Sur including the police chief of San Fernando City, La Union were replaced on Saturday, a day before the start of the election period on Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Rolando Saltat, Pangasinan police director, was replaced by Sr. Supt. Edgar Allan Okubo, the Region 1 police
intelligence officer.

Sr. Supt. Nestor Felix, director of Ilocos Sur police office, was replaced by Sr. Supt. Reynaldo Tamondong, the chief of the
investigation division of Region 1 police.

Saltat and Felix were reassigned at the Police Regional Office 1 here.

Meanwhile, Supt. Julius Suriben, the chief of the San Fernando City police station, was replaced by Supt. Bryant Demot, the chief of
provincial public safety company based in Tayug, Pangasinan. Suriben was designated as chief of the intelligence branch of La Union police in Camp Diego Silang.

Supt Demot paid a courtesy call to City Mayor Pablo C. Ortega accompanied by La Union police director Sr. Supt. Angelito Dumangeng and former city police chief Supt. Suriben.
