‘Henry’-affected families now at 2,401 in 3 regions

MANILA — Heavy rains caused by Tropical Storm Henry have affected 2,401 families in Central Luzon, Mimaropa, and the National Capital Region (NCR).

National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) executive director Ricardo Jalad said Wednesday the families consisted of 7,949 individuals.

According to the council, no casualty has so far been reported, although 23 houses in Central Luzon were reportedly partially damaged.

A total of 116 barangays were reported flooded in Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Cordillera, and the National Capital Region.
