Hand grenade, ammunition among those found in shabu raid

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Lawmen seized four sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia, ammunition and a hand grenade from a rented house of a suspected drug dealer in Barangay Tarece, San Carlos City early Wednesday morning.

A Search Warrant for Violation of Republic Act 9165 was served by lawmen at the house being rented by Bryan Christian Palisoc, tagged as Top 9 in the Drugs Watch List but he was nowhere to be found.

Seized, aside from the four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, containing suspected shabu, were one rolled aluminum foil, three water pipes, two acetone bottles, one lighter and one scissors.

Since the suspect was not around, lawmen sought permission from the owner of the house to enter Palisoc’s rented room and proceeded with the search.

Lawmen found inside his room four ammunition of Cal, 22 and a hand grenade taken from his drawer. The search was witnessed by some barangay officials and mediamen.
