MANILA — Except for isolated rains, good weather will continue in most parts of the country on Christmas day, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday.
PAGASA said two weather systems are now affecting the country — northeast monsoon now prevails over extreme Northern Luzon while easterlies affect the eastern section of the country.
For Friday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan group of Islands while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
It added light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago with slight to moderate seas.
The state-run weather bureau has not issued a gale warning as fisherfolk are now safe to venture into the seas. PNA/northboundasia.com
