End of Bonifacio

Art enthusiasts look at the 1963 painting of Carlos Valino Jr. entitled “Ang Wakas ni Andres Bonifacio” inside the Bulwagang Katipunan, Manila City Hall on Wednesday, as the country observes the 120th Death Anniversary of Bonifacio. Historical accounts said that on May 10, 1897, Bonifacio and his brother were brutally stabbed to death in Mt. Buntis, Maragondon, Cavite by Col. Lazaro Macapagal who happens to be an ancestor of past two Philippine Presidents. DANNY PATA/NPN – northboundasia.com
