Drug-related killings go on in Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — Drug-related killings and violence have persisted in Isabela’s major towns as police operatives have been in limbo on who are the assassins.

In San Mariano town, a 17-year-old out-of-school youth was found dead the other day with a bullet wound on his head.

Found at the victim’s body was a Cal. 45 bullet wound and a note with markings, “Wag tularan:addict at magnanakaw.” His neighbors allegedly heard a gun shot but they ignored it.

In Echague town, the floating body of an unidentified man was found by 55-year-old William Buguatan of Mabuhay village along Cayagan river here.

The decomposing cadaver has an underwear, a wrist band with Kiko Dy mark, a crucifix tattoo. The body was taken to Carbonel Funeral Homes in the town.

In Santiago City, a woman (wife of a Jordanian national) was arrested with seized shabu and paraphernalia in San Andres village.

Police station head, Police Chief Inspector Melanio Vinoray was stabbed on his head by an arrested drug suspect in Villasis village. He was declared safe now while recuperating at the hospital. Villamor Visaya Jr/PNA/northboundasia.com
