DAGUPAN CITY — The Dagupan road that is always flooded during the rainy season will be finally elevated starting Nov. 2.
Engineer Algen Caronongan of the 2nd Pangasinan Engineering District said Php25 million has been allotted for the construction of the four-lane road approved by the Department of Public Works and Highway.
Caronongan said the road project has a total length of around 323 meters with an elevation of about .28 meters.
“Along with this project is the construction of the drainage system and the road sidewalk,” he said.
Mayor Belen Fernandez thanked Congresswoman Gina De Venecia for helping elevate some roads of the city, especially Tapuac which is always under water during rainy season. PNA
