DAGUPAN CITY – The 14th month pay of the employees was released by the treasurer’s office at the city museum.
Mayor Belen Fernandez was on hand when the employees received their 14th month pay at the city museum.

The 14th month pay was funded by P10.8 million which was part of Supplemental Budget No. 2 approved on December 14 by the city council.

The 14th month pay was on top of the 13th month pay received by the employees in two traces, one in June this year and another in November.

This was the third time in a row that the employees received their 14th month pay since 2013 under the administration of Fernandez.

Fernandez said the grant of 14th month pay was done to reward the industry and sacrifices rendered by the employees to the people and city of Dagupan during the last three years.

She assured employees that the city will also provide them increased salary once the Salary Standardization Law is passed into law. PNA/northboundasia.com
