BALER, Aurora — Police arrested Monday a notorious drug pusher in this capital town of Aurora.
Police Senior Inspector Bartolome A. Antolin, officer-in-charge of the Baler Police Station (BPS), identified the suspect as Alvin Querijero, 30, a resident of Barangay Pingit here.
Querijero is in the top 6 priority list on illegal drugs in this province.
Antolin said the Aurora Provincial Public Safety Company (APPSC) and BPS conducted anti-dangerous drugs operation at Baler New Public Compound in front of Baler Sports Complex at around 11 p.m. Monday.
Confiscated from the suspect were six pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with street value of Php6,000 and the buy bust money used by the undercover police agent, who acted as poseur buyer.
Querijero will be charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
Antolin said that the arrest of the suspect is a result of his continuous crime prevention and reduction program with the implementation of “Oplan Lambat Sibat”.
He commended the operatives for their support in his anti-criminality program.
Antolin has vowed to double his efforts in eradicating illegal drugs as he believes that it is one of the major causes of criminalities in this province. PNA
