Comelec – Isabela head Atty. Manuel Castillo said the unity walk gathered law enforcement agencies, the academe, politicians and other sectors in the province.
The unity walk started in two areas namely at Northstar Mall on the southern side and at the Isabela Police Provincial Office and converged at the Isabela Sports Complex.
The theme of the unity walk is Safe and Free Elections.
Castillo said the unity walk in Isabela aims to ensure that elections in Isabela will be peaceful come May 9, 2016.
Meanwhile, the Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) has started to implement the Comelec gun ban and set up checkpoints all over the province.
