Cloudy skies, rain likely in N. Luzon till Saturday

MANILA — Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Northern Luzon’s Ilocos, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera regions as well as in Central Luzon, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, said in its 24-hour forecast released Friday afternoon.

The frontal system is affecting Northern Luzon, noted PAGASA.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening, will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of country.

“Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over the Visayas and Mindanao and coming from the southeast to south over the rest of country,” the bureau said.

Coastal waters nationwide will be slight to moderate, it added. Catherine Teves/PNA-northboundasia.com
