MANILA – Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Northern Luzon’s Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions and in Central Luzon, PhilippineAtmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Monday afternoon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening, will prevail over Metro Manila and rest of the country, PAGASA also said.
Frontal system is affecting Northern Luzon, PAGASA noted.
PAGASA also located a low-pressure area at 1,070 km east-northeast of Batanes province’s Basco municipality as of 4 p.m. Monday.
“Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the south to southwest over rest of country,” PAGASA said adding that coastal waters nationwide will be slight to moderate, PAGASA added. Catherine J. Teves/PNA-northboundasia.com
