MANILA — Some local government units (LGUs) have suspended classes on Monday due to the devastation left by Typhoon Ompong and continued rains caused by the southwest monsoon.
Classes in all levels for both public and private schools have been suspended in the following areas:
Cagayan Valley: Cagayan province
Central Luzon: Candaba, Pampanga
Cordillera Administrative Region: Abra, Baguio City, Benguet
Ilocos Region: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Pangasinan (Bayambang, Bugallon, Dagupan City, Labrador, Lingayen, San Carlos)
Cities in Metro Manila have not announced class suspension for any level on Monday.
