Some classes in Metro Manila, nearby areas suspended on Wednesday due to ‘habagat’

MANILA — The local government units of Malabon, Navotas and Caloocan have announced class suspension in all levels in both public and private schools due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or hangin habagat on Wednesday.

Other private education institutions in Metro Manila have also suspended classes. These include:

De La Salle Araneta University (DLSU) – all levels

University of the East (UE) Manila – Kindergarten to Grade 11

National College of Business and Arts (NCBA) Fairvie – Kindergarten to Grade 11

Several cities and municipalities in the provinces of Bulacan and Rizal have also suspended their classes.

These are:

Antipolo City – all levels

Taytay, Rizal – all levels

Cainta, Rizal – all levels

San Mateo, Rizal – all levels

San Jose del Monte City – all levels

Meycauayan, Bulacan – all levels

Bocaue, Bulacan – all levels
