SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela — The city government of Santiago is set to construct two electronic billboards and eight multi-purpose sheds within the vicinity of the poblacion.
Mayor Joseph Tan said the construction of electronic billboards will be used as an information board of the city government’s numerous programs and projects while the multi-purpose sheds will be used by tricycle drivers and passengers in the poblacion.
The e-billboards can also be used as advertising venue of private offices or business establishments who are from the city.
Tan said the city government has allotted P9.8 million for the project – P5 million for the e-billboard and P4.8 million for the multi-purpose sheds, which are expected to be finished by April this year.
The two billboards will be set up at Arellano Street and Panganiban Street which are located at the central business district.
Construction of the multi-purpose sheds have already started in strategic areas of the city proper. PNA/northboundasia.com
