City BFP kicks off fire prevention month

TUGUEGARAO CITY — The City Bureau of Fire Protection (CBFP) kicked off Monday the celebration of Fire Prevention month with a motorcade around the City to create public awareness on preventing fire.

CBFP fire inspector Basilio A. Pagulayan, said CBFP personnel and their fire trucks moved around the City to show their equipments.

The Fire personnel will also be conducting information and education campaign in schools, hospitals, government building and business establishments, Pagulayan said.

The BFP will also inspect business establishments and house to house inspection and recommend measures to save lives on time.

The BFP will be busy this month and in the succeeding months as summer season comes.

Pagulayan also advised the public to always check their electrical installations and have all broken or old wirings changed or repaired by a licensed electrician.
