Christmas Rush

Workers rush the section of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Expressway Project leading to the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) near the MIA Road in Paranaque City on Tuesday (Oct. 11, 2016). The remaining section of the PHP20.45-billion expressway is expected to be operational before the Christmas season. This will connect NAIA Terminals 1, 2 and 3 to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) says it will benefit 80,000 travellers per day and reduce travel time from Skyway to Terminal 1 from 24.3 minutes to 8.2 minutes.
