LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Traffic to Lingayen from western Pangasinan will be at snail pace due to the closure of the Guesang-Magsaysay Bridge in Lingayen, according to a public advisory made by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office.
The DPWH said the bridge, a vital span along the Lingayen-Labrador diversion road, is due for reconstruction, retrofitting and strengthening.
Warning signs and barricades were already installed by the contractor along the affected section directing motorists to take an alternated road to Lingayen from Labrador.
Motorists are advised to use the Lingayen-Bugallon (Socony) Labrador road as alternate road.
This road is also being taken by motorists coming from Bugallon, Aguilar and Mangatarem, Pangasinan and San Clemente and Camiling, Tarlac. PNA-northboundasia.com
