Bomb threat disrupts work at Ilocos town hall

LAOAG CITY — Employees of the municipal government of Marcos, Ilocos Norte were stopped to enter their respective offices early Friday due to a reported bomb threat, said Police Supt. Amador Quiocho of the Ilocos Norte Police Public Safety Company.

The police did not disclose where the bomb threat came from but just before employees could time in on Friday, the Explosive Ordinance Division of the Philippine National Police took over the municipal building to validate the report.

Employees were advised to stay outside the municipal hall until the police is done searching the building. LGA/PNA-northboundasia.com
