BIR official gunned down in QC

MANILA -Two motorcycle-riding gunmen shot and killed a Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) official in Barangay Phil-Am, Quezon City Wednesday morning.

Quezon City Police District Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar identified the victim as Alberto Enriquez, 49, married, chief of the assessment section of BIR Revenue District Office 28 located at West Avenue, Quezon City.

The victim, a resident of Number 92 Madasalin St., Barangay Sikatuna Village, Quezon City, had just stepped from his car in front of Ambianza Apartelle in No. 166 West Avenue when he was gunned down by one of the suspects around 7:29 a.m.

The gunmen immediately made escaped as Enriquez died on the spot.
