The Association of Mindorenos (TAM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary on Saturday, October 28, at the Tejeros Hall in Camp Aguinaldo, Q.C.

TAM officers led by their president, Engineer Bal Cajilig, are inviting all civic-minded provincemates from Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro to a dinner, that will promptly starts at 6:00 p.m. A raffle will be conducted afterwards  and entertainment will be provided by the Boyfriends band.
 
Among the invited guests are Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, Oriental Mindoro Governor Boy Umali, 1st District Representative Doy Leachon, 2nd District Congressman Rey Umali, Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan, Occidental Mindoro Governor Gene Mendiola and Congresswoman Josephine Sato, Chairman Emeritus Jolly Ting, former Commissioner Tito Genilo, former governor/congressman Rod G. Valencia, former Undersecretary Bong Ignacio, Lawyer Biyong Garing, former TAM presidents Gen. Ed Janda, Greg Lamanilao, Percy Aranas and Caloy Eje; and League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) president Mayor Bubut Brondial.
 
An association of Metro Manila-based Mindorenos, TAM has been regularly conducting medical missions, gift-giving for the elderly, sponsoring sports fest for the youth, and feeding programs for the needy.
 
The association also provides scholarship programs to poor but deserving young people and livelihood to women in Mindoro. It is actively giving protection to the endemic tamaraw (bubalus mindorensis), an endangered specie;  and promoting the welfare the indigenous Mangyan tribes in the province.
