CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, Tuguegarao City — Six wanted persons were arrested in separate police operations in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) over the weekend, police said.
Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) information officer, Supt. Chevalier Iringan identified the arrested suspects as Romeo Caliguiran, 29, resident of Barangay Nanguillattan, Peñablanca, Cagayan for the crime of attempted homicide; Abon Wasin, 31, resident of Ibung, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya for the crime of serious physical injury; Rustituto Etrata, 29, single, government employee, resident of Barangay District 2; Benito Soliven, Isabela for the crime of child abuse;
Alexander De Fiesta, 26, single, utility worker, resident of Barangay Escoting, Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya for the crime of direct assault; William Laud Mecate, 44 years old, tricycle driver and Rebecca Dawagan Mecate, 39 years old, self-employed, both residents of Barangay Casili, Mallig, Isabela for the crime of estafa.
Iringan said the wanted persons were arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by the court. (PR)
