5th most wanted person in PNP district level nabbed in Pangasinan

 

CALASIAO, Pangasinan — The Eastern Police District’s Special Operations Unit (DSOU) and Calasiao Police have arrested the fifth most wanted person in the Philippine National Police’s district level on Thursday at Barangay Buenlag here.

Calasiao Police reported that the suspect identified as Froilan “Paculan/Pacundo” Soriano, 34, construction worker, who was arrested in his residence at Sitio Lasip, Barangay Buenlag here by virtue of the warrant of arrest for felony of homicide issued by Judge Gregorio Vega Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 152 of Pasig City dated June 26, 2014.

Eastern Police District (EPD) stated that Soriano was the suspect in a homicide case involving a 24-year-old Jordan Clerigo on October 21, 2013 in Barangay Santo Tomas in Pasig City due to an old grudge.

EPD Director, Chief Supt. Reynaldo Biay, said the police would continue to hunt down wanted persons even in far-flung areas, and put them behind bars of justice.
