DAGUPAN CITY — Three notorious drug pushers were arrested in simultaneous buy-bust operations in separate operations conducted jointly by the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay II & III Monday night.
The arrest of the three suspects is part of the clearing operations being conducted by the Dagupan police in Barangay II & III, one of only three villages in Dagupan City still considered as drug-affected. The other 28 barangays of the city are now all drug-free.
The other two remaining drug-affected barangays in Dagupan are Calmay and the island village of Pugaro.
Arrested in Barangay ll and lll were Narciso Aquino Jr., 25, of Navaluan, Mangaldan; Balbino Patricio Jr., alias Jun Patricio, 60, of Amado-Tapuac, Dagupan’s City; and Raymund Hiteroza, 23, of Osiem, Mangaldan.
Aquino was arrested at 6:50 p.m. along Fernandez Street when he agreed to meet a poseur-buyer who asked that he be sold P500 worth of shabu. When the suspect received the marked money, he was arrested by the poseur-buyer and his companions.
The same thing happened to Patricio who was arrested by intelligence operatives of the Dagupan police under the direct supervision of Supt. Neil Miro, chief of police, at 7:00 p.m. on Rivera St. in Barangay II & III, particularly near the Stephanie Salon.
This, after he sold one sachet of shabu worth P300 to P01 Aldrin E. Guarin, who acted as poseur-buyer with other intelligence operatives nearby monitoring the transaction.
Hiteroza was also arrested along Rivera St. at the corner Nueva St. in Brgy. II & III at 8:30 p.m., from whom one sachet of shabu was seized which he was selling to a police agent disguised as buyer.
