SAN LUIS, Aurora — Three notorious drug pushers were arrested Tuesday following a series of intelligence buildup in a reported rampant shabu selling activities and drug den in this town.
The buy bust operation in Barangay San Jose here is a joint effort of the personnel of the Aurora Police Provincial Intelligence Branch led by Police Inspector Robert Prado and San Luis Police Station headed by Police Inspector Floriano Garia.
Garcia identified the suspects as Clotaldo D. Dulay, 38, a resident of Barangay Nonong Sr., Roy S. Reynera, 45, and Gina M. Alulod, 45, both residing in Barangay San Jose, all in this town.
Recovered from the operation in the house of Roy and Gina were PHP1,735, including the PHP500 marked money, four plastic sachets of shabu, and other drug paraphernalia.
“The house of Roy and Gina is being used as drug den. We found methamphetamine hydrochloride and other items,” he said.
Garcia commended the operating troops as he vowed that the police will continue their unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs within the province through SOP Lambat Sibat.
“We will continue conducting pro-active operations to invigorate our efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve our quest for a drug free Aurora province as mandated by our Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Danilo Florentino,” he said.
The three suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought Tuesday to Aurora Crime Laboratory Office.
Garcia said that appropriate criminal charges against the suspects are being readied for filing in court on Wednesday.
The suspects are now temporarily detained at San Luis Police Station Municipal Jail. PNA
