3 fishermen from Pangasinan missing in West Philippine Sea

AGNO, Pangasinan — A search and rescue operation is now going in the West Philippine Sea, some 40 nautical miles west of the province of Zambales where a motorized fishing banca with three fishermen on board capsized at about 3:00 p.m. of June 10, the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) reported on Monday.

On board the fishing boat marked “FB Naraja Brothers” were the owners of the boat Jay Uh Naraja and his brother Jayward Naraja; and their companion identified only as Rolly, alias “Warshock”, all from the coastal village of Baruan, Agno.

The Agno police as well as the Philippine Coast Guard in Bolinao, Pangasinan are now helping locate the missing fishermen after they failed to return from their fishing expedition Saturday night

The police alerted all fishermen who might be passing the area where the fishing banca capsized had been urged to extend maximum assistance to the three missing fishermen once they see them. LVM/PNA-northboundasia.com
