LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Three drug personalities in the watchlist were shot dead by still unidentified armed men in separate shooting incidents in Binmaley, Rosales and Sta. Maria towns in Pangasinan on September 13, according to the police.
Gunned down and killed at about 9:25 p.m. of September 13 was Fundador Soriano, alias “Kojie”, 34, tagged as No. 15 in the municipal drug watchlist of Binmaley.
He was going home from a drinking spree when unidentified suspects on board two motorcycles shot him in different parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to the Ramirez-Bautista Memorial Hospital, Binmaley, Pangasinan but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigators found two pieces of fired cartridges for caliber 45 at the crime scene.
Motive of the incident could be the alleged illegal drug activities of the victim.
In another incident at about 2:45 p.m. of September 13, one Ramin Fabro, 45, who was listed in the drug watchlist as a newly identified drug personality, was shot dead by unidentified suspects in Barangay Carmen East, particularly at the entrance of the Tarlac Pangasinan La Union Expressway (TPLEx).
The victim was driving his Honda TMX 155 motorized tricycle with Plate No. 4006 AX when the unidentified suspects on board a motorcycle opened fire at him several times in the head and body.
After the incident, the unidentified suspects fled, heading towards Mac Arthur highway.
The victim was rushed to the Rosales Municipal Infirmary but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Possible motive of the incident could be the involvement of the victim in illegal drug activities. He is also the biological brother of one Louie Fabro, alias “Oweng”, listed as the No. 1 drug personality of Rosales.
Recovered from the crime scene were five fired cartridge cases and one live ammunition believed to be for a cal .45 pistol which will be submitted to the PNP Crime Laboratory Office for Ballistics examination.
Meanwhile, on the same day, one Iluminada Supnet, alias “Lumen”, 59, who is included in the drug watchlist of Sta Maria town, was shot dead at 4:35 p.m. of September 13 in Barangay San Alejandro in Sta. Maria.
Investigation showed that the victim has just parked her vehicle in front of her house and while she was unloading her personal belongings she was shot several times by an unidentified suspect with the use of unknown caliber of firearm.
The suspect immediately fled after the incident on board a motorcycle with unknown plate number while the victim was immediately rushed to the Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug, Pangasinan for treatment. PNA/northboundasia.com
