3 drug personalities arrested in La Union

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – Three newly- identified drug persons were arrested in anti-illegal drug buy-bust operations conducted by joint elements from the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in San Fernando City, Agoo, and Rosario, La Union last Monday.

Nabbed in Barangay Canaoay, San Fernando City, was Jayson Siptemo, 22, a native of Tagmamipis, Calbayog, Northern Samar, who resides in Barangay Catbagen this city. He was arrested while transacting business with an agent poseur buyer.

Seized from Siptemo were three pieces of sachets containing the banned drug locally known as shabu, and P500 buy-bust money.

In San Nicolas West, Agoo, the arrested suspect was identified as Ryan Carag, 33, a resident of Barangay San Julian East of this town. Seized from him were 3 pieces of sachets allegedly containing shabu and P500 buy-bust.

Arrested in Aringay was Aladin Castillo, 28, a merchandiser of a supermarket of this town and a resident of Barangay Alipang, also this town.

Seized from Castillo, was a plastic sachet allegedly containing marijuana fruiting tops, 1 pack cigarettes with 6 pieces sticks and believed dried marijuana leaves, and P100 buy-bust money.
