28 drug personalities, 10 wanted persons nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — At least 28 drug suspects and 10 wanted persons were arrested by the Bulacan police in its  anti-criminality and anti-illegal drug operations for the past 24 hours from Thursday to Friday.

Senior Superintendent Chito G. Bersaluna, acting Bulacan provincial director, reported to Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) Director Chief Superintendent Amador V. Corpus that the suspects were apprehended in buy-bust operations in the cities of San Jose del Monte and Meycauayan and the towns of Hagonoy, Marilao, Santa Maria and San Rafael.

Confiscated from them were a  total of 44 plastic sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), a plastic sachet of suspected dried marijuana leaves, assorted drug paraphernalia and marked money.

Bersaluna identified the arrested suspects as as Julius Baduria, Monique Salvador, Norberto Cababag, Melanie Babiera, Lailanie Bayonito, Creslie Culala, Leopoldo Rivera, Leo Rivera, Mico Yap, Alexander Bautista, Julieta Bautista, Aristotle Bautista, Elmer Reyes, Vilma Garcia;

Gary Casipit, Raymark Casipit, Jaime Pabiko, Edgardo Contiga, Mark Mejos, Ryan Rubio, Emily Ayo, Carmelita Cationg, Ariel Gillo, Michael Dela Cruz, Rodolfo Espiritu, Roy Cabusas, Raymundo Huete and Robin Pinaflorida.

“The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints of violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002)  against them are now being prepared for filing in court,” Bersaluna added.

Meanwhile, he said two of the 10 arrested wanted persons include the No. 2  most wanted in San Rafael town, identified as Ariel Betchayda, 34, construction worker and wanted for murder; and the No. 6 most wanted in the City of Malolos identified as Jomarie Baluyot, 31, a drug suspect with no bail recommended.

Bersaluna said the eight other wanted persons facing different criminal cases were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest by the operatives of Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and operatives of cities/towns of San Jose del Monte;  Meycauayan;  Norzagaray; and San Miguel.

They were identified as Emmalyn Candelaria, Cecilia Rodeadilla,  Zandro Mamorno, Angelo Baluran, Alvin Payno, Marvin Nazar, Olive Macabante, and Ofelia Cruz.
